Licked Clean!

Fake cop takes medical marijuana plants

FLINT, Mich. (UPI) -- Police in Michigan said a man posing as an officer took a gun, $500 and 12 cannabis plants from the home of a medical marijuana user.

Flint police said the victim told them the man, described as about 65-years-old, and two men who appeared to be about 19-years-old arrived at his home in two cars about 2 p.m. Friday and initially asked to see a woman who does not live in the home, The Flint Journal reported.

The victim closed the door, but the older man knocked again and identified himself as a police officer. The three men came inside the home and the victim told the suspect he had a gun. The suspect confiscated the gun and $500 cash.

The man also took 12 marijuana plants, which the victim said he uses for medical purposes. The victim said the suspect told him he was over the weight limit for medical marijuana.
